The accommodation consists of one double room, with an overflow single room for additional family members. Both rooms are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and share a private bathroom down the hall. The double room has its own TV, DVD player and fridge, as well as two arm chairs and numerous books. There is ample cupboard and drawer space. People have commented on the comfort of the beds which have good quality mattresses.
The double room has a picture window overlooking the sea with views of Raasay, Rhona and the Outer Isles. Guests are free to enjoy sitting out in the garden to watch the sunsets while listening to grass hopper warblers and snipe. We have a five year old terrier called Charlie and a one year old collie called Paddy who adore people. They thinks children are great fun too! If having dogs around is an issue for guests they can be kept upstairs and they are not allowed in the dining room while guests are eating.
Breakfast is served in our dining/living room which has a large picture window overlooking the sea, heated by a wood burning stove. We make our own bread and you will most likely wake up to the aroma of a freshly baked loaf. All our preserves are also home made from hand picked fruit.
Packed lunches can be made on request as long as notice is given (shops are not just round the corner!).
Guests have exclusive use of the bathroom.
The double room costs £70 per night with reductions for more than three consecutive nights.
